Peanuts TV Show Checklist

Compiled by Scott McGuire (smcguire at fivecentsplease dot org)
Last Updated: August 8, 2010

Here's a list with just the titles of all the Peanuts TV shows and movies, a sort of checklist so you can keep track and make sure you've got them all!

For show synopses and trivia, latest news, TV and video information, see the main Peanuts Animation and Video Page.

This is a complete list of all the TV shows ever made, in original broadcast order.

All shows are a half-hour long (30 min, including commercials) unless otherwise noted.

PRIME-TIME SPECIALS

Starting in 1965 and continuing through 2006, these episodes were originally broadcast during prime-time, with one exception (It's Spring Training, Charlie Brown). THE CHARLIE BROWN & SNOOPY SHOW

These are episodes from the Saturday morning TV shows which ran from 1983-86. One problem with identifying the shows is that while they've been given an episode title, that title is never shown on screen. So I've included the name of the first skit of each episode to help identify them. The episode title is first, with the first skit name in parenthesis. All were released on VHS video in the US by Paramount, as 9 volumes with the title "The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show," although the videos are now out-of-print. I've noted the Paramount volume number for the video each show is on.

You Can't Win, Charlie Brown ("Shaking") (Vol. 1)

Linus' Security Blanket ("Snoopy and Woodstock") (Vol. 1)

Snoopy's Cat Fight ("Woodstock") (Vol. 2)

Linus and Lucy ("Sally and Snoopy") (Vol. 2)

The Lost Ballpark ("Crawl") (Vol. 3)

Snoopy: Team Manager ("Shoveling") (Vol. 4)

Lucy Loves Schroeder ("Kite-Eating Tree") (Vol. 4)

Snoopy the Psychiatrist ("Charlie Brown & Lucy") (Vol. 5)

Lucy vs. the World ("Straws") (Vol. 5)

Snoopy's Football Career ("Gold Stars") (Vol. 6)

Chaos in the Classroom ("Sally at School") (Vol. 6)

Their contents are duplicated by the Paramount releases - there is no missing material. If you have the Paramount tapes, you do not need these. The titles given here are made up for the video releases; shows with these titles were never broadcast on television.
